Each student post of this blog is categorized under a few different headings. The authors are identified by the tag author:firstname. I have also grouped the writings based on the type of assignment that I gave the students.
In the case of narratives, this section is dedicated to the personal narratives of my students. So far, the topics for these narratives are in response to the following prompts:
1. What is something that you have done that you felt good about?
2. What is a struggle that you have overcome?
3. Tell me about a good friend of yours and how you met that person.
Each student goes through a series of at least three drafts with one or more teachers or tutors before their work is posted. As editors, we attempt to be as true to the author's voice as possible, while still pushing the students to both expand their thinking and clarify their ideas.
